A Draft worksheet is created
When a new version of a worksheet is created Draft version is created.
Find the draft you would like to publish
Select your worksheet
If you used the provided direct link you can skip this step. Click on the name of your worksheet.
Navigate to the Versions Tab
Click on the draft button to start the process of publishing the draft. This is usually the latest version but you can make multiples and select an older draft.
Pending Approval
First we set the version to pending approval. This is because you might have different person make the new version, then have another person approve the version.
Locking a worksheet
You may lock the version and route to a reviewer. The reviewer and creator of the version are often the same person. We will skip this step for this draft.
The document is pending
Now the document is pending, we can approve the document. Click the Pending button.
Approve the document
You may reject the document to send it back to the creator, but in this case we will approve it. Click the Approve menu item. It will ask if you are sure (No screen shot) Click yes.
Publish and make active
Click yes to make the worksheet version active. A sheet can be published and not made active. If it is not made active it will be available for use but it will not be the default worksheet. You will almost always click yes.
Your worksheet is approved and active.
