Rush Turnarounds

Setting Up Rush Turnarounds

1. To set up Rush Turnarounds, go to Configuration > Application > General.
2. Scroll down to the Rush Turnaround Settings section and check the Enable Rush Turnaround checkbox
3. Click on + Add Turnaround
   
4. Fill out the Name, Flag Background Color, Flag Text Color, and Default Duration fields.
   

Applying a Rush Turnaround

LIMS

In the LIMS, Users can select the desired Turnaround for the Order and the Test.

Order Level

When creating an Order or viewing the Order details, you can assign a Turnaround to the Order.

Test Level

When assigning an Assay to create a Test or viewing a Test, you can assign a Turnaround to the Test by selecting an option in the Turnaround dropdown field.

Alternatively, Tests can inherit the Order-level Turnaround. To configure Tests to inherit the Order-level Rush Turnaround, check the Apply Order Turnaround to Test Turnarounds upon creation checkbox.

Customer Portal

In the Customer Portal, Customer Portal Users can select the desired Turnaround for the Order Request and the Test.

Order Request Level

On the Order Request Level, the Customer Portal User can either select a Rush Turnaround or leave it blank for standard.

Test Level

On the Test Level, the Customer Portal User can choose between Standard or the desired Turnaround.
