Workflow
-
Log records can be created via the Logs link under QMS if you have QBench's QMS module. First, click on QMS, then Logs, then Log Types and finally +New Log Type.
-
This will bring you to a new page where you can enter details for a new log. You must add a title and a worksheet to associate with this log in order to create it. See also Worksheets.
- As a note: you can only associate one worksheet with one log. If there are other worksheets you wish to track, you must create multiple logs for each worksheet.
- After a log is created, you can create entries in the worksheet. There are two ways that this can be done. If you do not tick the checkbox next to Show in navbar, then you must click on QMS, then Logs, then Log Types and finally to All Log Types. From here, you will see a list of logs that have been previously made. To the far right, you will see a column titled Count. Click on the text hyperlink of the desired log.
- This will bring you to a new page that lists all the log entries made. You can click on a previous log entry to alter it, or click on the +New Log Entry button. For now, click on +New Log Entry.
-
This allows you to enter data into the worksheet that attached to this log. The other option can be used by choosing a log and ticking the checkbox next to Show in navbar. This allows quick access to making new entries or changing existing ones for a log.
- You can also edit a previous entry on a previous entry by clicking that entry on a log. You can change numbers and save by clicking update. You can also print previous entries by selecting the print and choosing print csv from the dropdown menu.
