- Many pages in QBench allow you to filter items. Filtering can be done by clicking on the Filter button on a given page.
- After clicking this button, a new window will open which allows you to filter the list on that page. For example, the filter page for Samples is shown below.
- After creating a new filter, this will change the filter icon. It will have an asterisk next to it, indicating this filter needs to be saved. Click on the icon again. This will open a dropdown menu.
- Clicking on Manage Filter allows you to change this new filter. Save new lets you name this new filter and save it. Clear removes the filter and restores the page to initial settings.
- Once a filter is saved, if you change the filter through Manage Filter and can save these changes with the Save button (rather than Save new.) You can also delete a new filter by clicking Delete. You must confirm the deletion, or the filter will not be erased.
- When you create a new filter, you can then file it under a filter group to easily sort filters. In order to create a group, you must first click Manage Filter and then click Filter Groups. You can then click the +Create Filter Group button.
- After creating a filter group, you can then add filters to the group by clicking the Manage tab. You can add the name of the filter and choose the filter group from the dropdown menu. Click Save and this will add the filter to the filter group.
- You can also create global filters, see also Global Filters.
