- In certain areas of QBench, you are able to export files and import them. This can be done by clicking on the button on a given page shown below.
- These buttons can currently be found in samples, tests, sources, contacts, issues, equipment, assays, and panels.
- On samples, tests, and sources, you will be able to download templates for uploading information to QBench. It will show the format in which you need to upload data. To do this, click Download Template, then For Importing.
- Using this template, you can then upload .xlsx files from your computer onto QBench. Note: .xlsx is currently the only file type that QBench accepts for importing files.
- Additionally, you can update current samples. To see the template for this, tick the checkbox next to a given item (like samples) and select For Updating under Download Template.
- Note that you must tick a checkbox next to an item in order to download the template for updating.
- You can then choose to import files in .xlsx format and either upload new or update previous items.
- You can also export all item types (like samples). On the same button, click either export selected or export all.
- Export selected will export all items with filled checkboxes next to that item.
- Export all will export all existing files of that type. When you click this button, it will queue the items for export. You can navigate away from this page (if you so choose) and return or stay on that page. Eventually, a red exclamation mark will appear to indicate all items are ready for export.
- You can then download the report by clicking the export button and selecting Download Latest Export All.
- Export selected will export all items with filled checkboxes next to that item.
- There is an additional option under Tests for Export Worksheet to CSV. This will export selected tests which have worksheets into a .csv file.
