Understanding Stock Default Price Used on Inventory Items and Other Metrics on Inventory Stocks

Stock Default Price - This field can be used to set the default inventory stock default price when you are creating a new stock.

Metric on Stock Modal:

1. For Inventory Stocks WITH Quantity:
   1. Average Cost Per Use: This is the average cost per usage of each inventory stock usages across all Test, Batch, Formulation, and Sample.
   2. Average Cost per Quantity: This is the calculation of each stock's average price given the total quantity of stocks for both used and unused, and the price of the stocks.
   3. Total Cost for Used Stock:  This is the total price of all the costs per usage of used stocks across all Test, Batch, Formulation and Sample.
2. For Inventory Stock WITHOUT Quantity:
   1. Average Cost Per Use: This is the calculation of the total price of inventory stock divided by all the usage counts across all Test, Batch, Formulation, and Sample.
   2. Average Cost per Quantity = Average Cost Per Use: The average cost per quantity will always be the same as the average cost per use.

Total Cost for Used Stock: If the stocks are used, the total cost for used stock will always remain as the total price of the stocks regardless of how many you use.
