Purpose
Filters on the Inventory Item list page can also serve as a feature to set up an email notification for when Inventory Items are added to that filter.
Pro tip: you can set up low-stock alerts.
Process
Once a filter is set up on the Inventory Items list page, to set up an email notification on the Inventory Item list page, perform the following:
- Go to the Inventory Item list page
- Click the filter button and choose Email Options
- A pop-up should appear. To send an email when items are added please select the following: Check the boxes for Enable filter emailing and Notify me when items are added to this filter
- You can choose what the email includes by choosing either: Include all items in this filter or Include only added items.
- Include all items in this filter will include all items currently in the filter.
- Include only added items will only include the new items that were added to the filter.
- Click Save.
Expected Results
You should now be able to receive email notifications whenever an Inventory Item is added to your chosen filter.
