If you are subscribed to QBench's Inventory module, you will see Inventory on the navy blue bar. This tab is used to log the Inventory of supplies in your lab.
To add a new Inventory item, hit +New Inventory Item under the Inventory dropdown in the site navigation. This will allow you to enter information about the item. In order to create a new Inventory item, the item must have a name. When finished, hit the Save button.
If you want to change the available fields, you must change it on the Configuration page. See also Fields and Data Types.
By clicking All, you will be brought to a page of existing lab Inventory items.
Clicking the Create Stock button records any stock that you receive for existing Inventory items.
Clicking on the Name of any item will open the details page for that Inventory item. You can alter any text input box, but you cannot delete a name.
The next tab is the Stock tab. You can Create Stock, Print Labels, and perform Actions on Inventory stock.
Clicking Create Stock will allow you to create new stock for an Inventory item.
Clicking Print Labelsafter selecting Stock will allow you to print labels for the selected Inventory. This can be configured with 3D labels, QR codes, or any number of configurations that you desire.
The Action button requires you to first click the checkbox before a stock ID. After this, you may Edit,Delete, Consume, or Unconsume the selected Stock. Stock can also be edited or deleted by clicking on the pencil icon under Edit or the trash can under Delete. Note that you must confirm deletion to successfully delete any Stock.
Stock can also be applied to Test or Batch from the Action button. If users have a valid Worksheets subscription and have assigned a Worksheet to a Stock, selected Stocks' Worksheets can also be Edited or Updated.
The next tab is Attachments, where you can add files and and documents. You can also list notes or choose a new file name. When you are done, click the Upload button
After you click Upload, other users will then be able to download this file by clicking the down arrow.
You can also delete this attachment by clicking on the garbage can next to the arrow. Note that a popup message will appear which asks if you to confirm deletion of this document.
