+ New Sample
There are a few common ways to enter orders into QBench. One way is to to navigate to the Workflow tab in your navigation bar, then Samples. Select + New Sample.
Enter Sample Information in the Provided Fields
Enter your any sample information that is applicable in the fields provided, and select the Save button.
+ Assign Assay
You may use the tabs under each Sample to add Sub-samples, comments, attach files/images, but most importantly to choose to assign an Assay or Panels to the sample.
Method 2: Sample List Page
Another way to add a Sample is through your Sample list page. You can find this by navigating to Workflow > Samples > All.
Add Single Sample
You may add a single sample by clicking + New Sample.
Add Multiple Samples
You may add multiple samples by clicking Create New Samples in the dropdown view.
Enter Number of Samples
Enter the number of samples you'd like to add.
Create New Samples
Fill out the required fields and click Create New Samples.
Method 3: Import New Samples
You may also import samples if you have them created elsewhere. Select the Import New Samples option in the dropdown.
Download the Template
To import orders, you will need to get a copy of the Import Template. This template will need to be filled with your order data.
Choose Import File
You will need to select order data to import.
Select File
Select the file with the new order data.
Other ways to enter in orders is programmatically via the QBench API or by customer, through the Customer Portal.
