Logging results data in QBench will depend on if your lab is leveraging Worksheets or not. Some labs' data entry needs are simple and don't require a Worksheet. In that case, you would leverage the core field results that resides at the test level.
We can see that field by navigating to any test. I'll select this first test within my INPROGRESS filter.
Within the Details page I'll see my results Core Field. this is the field that most QBench reports are configured to display and is the same field that is displayed to customers within the Customer portal when the results are published.
Simply fill out your Results field with any alpha numerical value and then click Save.
If your lab needs to enter multiple values, like extraction volume or dilution factors lods LOQs or include any calculation computing that would impact your final result, then you would require a Worksheet.
Worksheets can be configured by your LIMS administrator and can vary in complexity. Here's a very simple test worksheet for our Heavy Metals test.
I can enter my findings within the PPB column and click Save to process my results against any pass fail criteria.
More commonly, your lab may be logging results data against a batch across multiple samples and tests all at once. If I navigate to the Batches tab, I can see the associated batch. Click the ID to jump into the batch.
From this view, I can see my samples, where they're located in the lab, what status they're in, and the technician that's assigned.
Tab over to worksheets to view the batch level. Worksheets can be manually populated or automatically populated if you're leveraging File Parsers. File Parsers can scan through raw instrument exports, process any conditional logic, and display data within this worksheet or any supporting sample and test fields. For more information on this, please watch. How to create File Parsers.
Go to the File Parser icon within the top navigation bar.
Select the correct File Parser template, choose a file, and then click Submit.
Your File Parser will provide real-time feedback as to whether or not the upload was successful.
Just refresh your page to view the results.
Now if I navigate back to the Test list page, I can see all my tests have results, the statuses have been changed in review, and it is now ready to move on to the next step.
