Click +New Order
To create an order you will navigate to your workgroup tab and then +New Order
Fill Out Fields
You will see a list of fields created by your LIMS administrator. You will need to fill out most of these fields.
Enter Required Order Fields
Notice some fields are marked with a red asterisk, that indicates a required field. Required fields will need to be completed in order to move on.
Enter Fields and
Click Save Order
This will save the order and prompt you to add your samples
Enter Samples by Importing a list
Importing samples will be covered in How to Import Samples
Enter Samples Manually
Enter samples manually by clicking +Create New Samples and entering in the number of samples to add
Enter Required Sample Fields
You will see a list of fields your LIMS admin has created, you will need to fill out. Once you have done so, Click Save Samples.
Assign Tests
Now that you have assigned samples, you will want to assign tests. Go ahead an click Select Assay. You may choose an individual Assay or a Panel (A group of Assays)
Search For Assay
In this case we will search for an individual assay
Click assign
Click Submit
click save
And lastly click save at the bottom. This will give you your test IDs and place the tests in a not started status.
These tests are ready to assign to a technician.
